BANGKOK, 9 May 2013 The government believes the hackers responsible for the infiltration of the PM’s Office website were the same group that have launched online attacks against the current administration via social media during the past week.
Government Spokesman Tossaporn Serirak said on Wednesday that there have been several criticisms and attacks via social media against the Prime Minister in the past week.
Mr. Tossaporn stated that all online attacks appeared connected with the hacking of the PM’s Office website, which resulted in the posting of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra’s photograph along with inappropriate messages.
He believes that all hackers and the attackers are the same group of people, who are in disagreement with the government.
While imploring with the public to refrain from disseminating the content shown on the hacked webpage, the government spokesperson is asking those with different opinions to lend help in the development of the country and to stop all slandering moves against the current administration.
