BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand has reinforced its position as a premier destination for international events by welcoming the Gumball 3000, a world-renowned charity supercar rally, for the first time in the country’s history.
The event kicked off on 17 September evening with a spectacular public showcase at Central World, Bangkok’s bustling shopping district. Over 120 luxury supercars, valued at more than 1 billion baht ($28 million), rolled into the city after entering Thailand through the Ban Khlong Luek border crossing in Sa Kaeo Province.
Maximillion Cooper, founder of the British Gumball 3000, led the procession, which featured rare models, including a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Ferrari 812 GTS, Ferrari 812 Competizione, and Ferrari F8 Spider. The event drew thousands of spectators, eager to witness the parade of supercars and participate in the festivities. (PRD)
