Health Ministry asserts maximum care for bomb victims

BANGKOK, 20 September 2015 – The Ministry of Public Health assures that best medical services have been provided to patients from the bombing incident in Bangkok, commending the cooperation received from related hospitals. 

The Director of the Bureau of Health Emergency Respond Anurak Amornpetchsathaporn has said regarding the treatment and reimbursement for the victims from the bombing incident in Bangkok on a national TV broadcast, that the related agencies are taking care of the patients with their best effort.

Related hospitals are now providing proper treatment to the patients, while the government will pay for all medical expenses, regardless of the patients’ nationality.

Ministry of Public Health has provided a team of specialists to reaffirm confidence and peace of mind to the affected people, especially among foreigners, who officials say mental rehabilitation is an important process to bolster the nation’s tourism.
