BANGKOK, 3 April 2012 – The National Blood Center, under the Thai Red Cross Society has launched a blood donation project to honor Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 57th birthday anniversary.
The center organized the blood donation event on April 2, which is Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s birthday.
With fewer people donating blood during summer, the National Blood Center is urging people to do so in April. It has also asked all healthy Thais to donate blood every three months at the National Blood Center on the Henry-Dunant Road.
Her Royal Highness has been supporting the works on blood donation service since 1977 when she became the Executive Vice-President of the Thai Red Cross Society.
