NAKHON PATHOM, 16 July 2015 – The Department of Highways has announced plans to repair three major highways to ensure road safety and smooth travel.
The department has made known that repair work is being carried out on Phetkasem Road, which is considered the gateway to the South. The road has been in use for a long period of time and damage to its surface has been reported.
The project is set to ensure motorists are able to travel safely and quickly to their destinations. The three projects involve work on Highway No. 4 in Nakhon Chaisri, Phra Patone and Srakatiam.
All three projects were begun on July 11 and will continue for around 150 days. The department will coordinate with local police to facilitate the safe access of motorists during the reconstruction. Members of the public are advised to plan their travel ahead and exercise extra caution while driving.
