LAUSANNE, 5 December 2014 – Thai people in Europe and the City of Lausanne are to hold the ‘King of Hearts’ event as tribute to His Majesty the King of Thailand tomorrow.
The Royal Thai Embassy in Bern and the Thai people in Europe, with the cooperation from the City of Lausanne, will be holding the event ‘King of Hearts’ tomorrow (6 December 2014) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Gen Thanasak Patimaprakorn will officiate over the event along with the Mayor of Lausanne.
The event will be held as tribute to His Majesty the King of Thailand as Lausanne is the city where His Majesty has lived during his youth.
In addition to Lausanne, Thai people in Europe and their families are invited to attend the celebrations held in cities across Europe such as London and Paris. It is expected that there will be about 2,000 attendees in Lausanne.
