BANGKOK, 16 July 2015 – His Majesty the King has ordered water supply centers set up in 53 provinces to help the drought-affected people.
The water supply centers are collaboration between the Rajaprajanogroh Foundation under the Royal Patronage, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation and the Ministry of Education. The centers are located in Rajaprajanogroh Schools and schools under the Bureau of Special Education in 53 provinces. The centers have been operating since 17 July 2015.
The public can receive water supply at a nearby center during its operating hours until the drought situation ends.
