House Secretariat holds well-wishing ceremony for HM the King

BANGKOK, 3 December 2014 – The Secretariat of the House of Representatives has organized a ceremony to offer good wishes to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of his 87th birthday anniversary.

At the Parliament building today, House Secretary-General Jare Phanpruang led civil servants and employees of the House Secretariat in a well-wishing ceremony for His Majesty the King. They took an oath of allegiance to His Majesty, vowing to be good civil servants and adhere to His Majesty’s sufficiency economy philosophy as well as royal teachings. The group also pledged commitment to solving the nation’s problems and ensuring the well-being of the people.

Following the ceremony, Mr Jare presided over the opening of an exhibition in commemoration of His Majesty the King’s 87th birthday. He joined in a well-wishing activity before observing the exhibition, which will be open until December 9.
