The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has disclosed that the new round of relief supplies given by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will be delivered to Nepal today.
According to the MFA, the Royal Thai Air Force will send another shipment of necessities by two ‘C-130 Hercules’ military air transports to help people affected by the earthquake in Nepal.
The emergency supplies include drinking water, tents, large plastic sheets and more items donated by Her Royal Highness.
BANGKOK, 4 May 2015 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has disclosed that the new round of relief supplies given by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will be delivered to Nepal today.
According to the MFA, the Royal Thai Air Force will send another shipment of necessities by two ‘C-130 Hercules’ military air transports to help people affected by the earthquake in Nepal.
The emergency supplies include drinking water, tents, large plastic sheets and more items donated by Her Royal Highness.
The MFA added that no further assistance has been requested from Thai nationals in Nepal at this time.
There are currently 19 Thai citizens taking refuge at the Thai embassy in Kathmandu, 11 of which are families of embassy officials.
The aid team organized by the Royal Thai Armed Forces will continue to help people in Nepal, alongside a local team and others from Japan and Mexico.
Medical personnel from the Ministry of Public Health and those working under the Royal Thai Army have also been providing medical attention in the aftermath of the devastating quake.
