BANGKOK, Thailand – Victoria Keir, Miss Universe 2024, expressed her admiration for Thai culture, cuisine, and the warm hospitality of the Thai people during her visit to Thailand. She shared her fondness for iconic dishes like Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai, which she especially enjoyed.
Her visit to Thailand is part of her duties as Miss Universe. Recently, she met with Sorawong Thienthong, the Minister of Tourism and Sports, to discuss her mission and responsibilities.
“Since winning the title, my life has changed significantly, but my dedication and mission remain the same,” said Keir. She emphasized her commitment to advocating for animal rights, a cause she has been passionate about since childhood.
As a 21-year-old, Keir encouraged younger generations to embrace challenges, view obstacles as opportunities, and persist with determination.
She expressed deep gratitude to her Thai fans, saying, “I am proud and delighted by the warm welcome I’ve received. I love Thailand, its people, food, and culture. I will use this opportunity to learn more about Thailand and its unique identity.” (TNA)
