ICT Minister joins Thailand Competitiveness Conference 2015 opening

BANGKOK, 17 July 2015 – The Minister of Information and Communication Technology has joined the opening of the Thailand Competitiveness Conference 2015, held to promote sustainable development and increase economic competitiveness.

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology Pornchai Rujiprapa has attended the opening ceremony of the Thailand Competitiveness Conference 2015 seminar, which was presided over by Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha.

The seminar addresses the topic of ‘Building Competitive Thailand for Sustainability and Inclusiveness’, and is being held at Plaza Athenee Hotel on Wireless Road in Bangkok during 15-17 July 2015, with support from the Office of the National Economics and Social Development Board.

This seminar aims to be a platform to promote sustainable development guidelines, and to allow related agencies from the government and private sectors to be knowledgeable on the proper ways to increase competitiveness. Guidelines on cooperation will be enacted by the government and private agencies to enhance national stability, and then be used as a development model for other industries.
