SONGKHLA, 26 February 2015 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is inviting tourists to visit Songkhla province for the International Balloon Festival held in March.
Hatyai Municipality Office and the TAT will be hosting the event at Jiranakorn Stadium in Hatyai district of Songkhla province. The International Balloon Festival will take place from March 6th-7th, 2015.
Visitors can expect to see colorful hot-air balloons in different shapes from around the globe. They will also be given hot-air balloon rides to see Hatyai with a bird’s eye view. Organizers have planned music concerts, parades, games, and food and beverage vendors at the festival.
Tourists are also invited to the nighttime event called ‘Balloon Night Glow’ that will come with spectacular light and sound shows.
