More than 170 couples from 12 countries kicked up their heels for Pattaya’s first International Dance Championships Tuesday at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden.
The ballroom and Latin dance contest was sponsored by Nong Nooch and the World Dance Council Amateur League. About 30 international judges rated the contestants.
More than 340 dancers took part in the contest at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden on Tuesday.
Nong Nooch said it staged the dance competition to boost Pattaya tourism and give locals a chance to experience international dance. It plans to host the contest annually.
