Bangkok, 4th September 2018 – Students, civil servants, members of the private sector and the general public have all been invited to join in a song writing competition on the topic of “royal volunteer work” offering the chance to win a Royal Cup bestowed by His Majesty the King.
Royal agencies are jointly holding the competition to promote good deeds and volunteerism. The winning composition is to be become the official song of volunteer work done in the name of His Majesty the King.
Entries must be contemporary Thai compositions with clear and concise lyrics about volunteer work done in tribute to the royal institution. The songs are to be easily sung and should be inspiring.
Applications can be downloaded from www.prd.go.th with entries to be accepted until October 20, 2018. More information can be found by calling 02-356-0977.
