BANGKOK, Thailand – Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, hosted a welcoming reception for the legal experts from the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) Partner Countries attending the IPEF Labor and Network Discussion (IPEF LAND) at Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park on 27 August.
The reception was held on the occasion of the first IPEF LAND meeting in Thailand for legal experts, consisting of government representatives from IPEF Partner Countries, to discuss cooperation on labor issues under the IPEF Agreements on Pillar II (Supply Chain Resilience), Pillar III (Clean Economy), and Pillar IV (Fair Economy). It was also an opportunity for legal experts to exchange views on labor issues with the representatives from employers’ and workers’ organizations attending the discussion. (MFA)
