BANGKOK, 9 December 2014 – His Majesty the King has sent a message of condolence to King Phelippe of Belgium over the passing away of Her Majesty Queen Fabiola, Queen Consort of late King Baudouin of the Belgians on December 5, 2014.
The Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary said His Majesty’s message was sent through the Thai Embassy in Brussels. The royal message read: “The Queen and I have learnt with great sorrow of the demise of Her Majesty Queen Fabiola whom we all in Thailand have long held in the highest regard and esteem.
We wish to share with Your Majesty and all the members of the Royal Family as well as the Belgian people our most profound feeling of sadness. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and condolences for this grievous loss.”
