KMIDS Director Suphan Tangchitkusolman and Rector of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Suchatchavee Suwansawat on Thursday presided over the opening ceremony of the “STEM with Robotics” program—the educational innovation that uses robotics with learning.

The school director said KMIDS’ STEMS With Robotics is a special program the school had developed with the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy–a world-class academic institution. Students would learn about engineering and design of robotics, programming and using robotics to perform various tasks, said the director.

Mr. Suphan expressed his confidence that the program would encourage students to be more interested in their study and enhance their potential to learn. The program would pave the way for the use of robotics with learning at higher levels of education, he said
