Police Monday arrested a drunken Thai man waving around a kitchen knife on South Pattaya’s beachfront.
Puwanart Thalert, 33, who guards beach chairs near Soi 13/3, was thrown into the drunk tank after a night and morning of drinking and fighting with his brother.
Sibling Pakpoom, 29, who also guards the chairs, said his older brother had tried to attack him the night before and, unsuccessful, kept binging into the morning. He was afraid his relative would hurt someone on the beach, so he called police.
