KOH SAMUI, Thailand – Koh Samui in Surat Thani province has experienced a surge in international visitors with the arrival of two cruise ships carrying over 2,000 tourists. On Friday (Nov 22), the MS Noordam from US-based Holland America Line docked at Nathon Pier, bringing 1,924 passengers. Nathon Pier was reportedly bustling with activity as over 100 vehicles, including taxis, buses, and trucks, transported tourists for one-day excursions around the island. The vibrant atmosphere reaffirmed Koh Samui’s continued appeal as a key destination for cruise travelers.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Koh Samui Office has confirmed that ten cruise ships are scheduled to visit the island between mid-November and December, carrying an estimated 7,500 passengers.
