Lancang-Mekong Audiovisual Week highlights importance of media cooperation in borderless era

The Lancang-Mekong Audiovisual Week (LMAW) begins its journey with a spectacular opening ceremony, featuring significant attendees such as H.E. Yang Guorui, Vice Minister of the National Radio and Television Administration of China; H.E. Zeng Yan, Member of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and Head of its Publicity Department; and H.E. Mme. Yang Yang, Vice Governor of Yunnan Province. Mr. Supapong Chaolan, Executive Director of National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT), led the Government Public Relations Department (PRD) team and delivered a speech at the ceremony. He emphasized the importance of media cooperation in a borderless era to revitalize the economy and promote sustainability. Representatives from nine countries, including China, participated in the event, which attracted over 900 attendees. The event includes experience sharing, showcases of new technologies, and a study tour on the innovations in Yunnan Province. (PRD)
