BANGKOK, Thailand – Leaders in the Thai coffee industry recently came together to share their efforts in promoting sustainability and improving the country’s coffee production. The event introduced a new drip coffee collection created by ten coffee experts, highlighting their commitment to eco-friendly practices from farming to brewing.
A key topic was how forest restoration can go hand in hand with supporting local farmers. By growing coffee in harmony with nature, farmers are improving their income while helping the environment. The initiative also provides them with tools and knowledge to grow high-quality coffee in a sustainable way.
Speakers showcased how different coffee-making methods, like Washed, Natural, and Honey processes, give Thai coffee unique and rich flavors. These innovations are helping Thai coffee compete in the growing specialty coffee market worldwide.
The event also highlighted the connection between coffee and environmental care. The Dripple Effect concept showed how every step in making coffee can have a positive impact, creating benefits for communities, nature, and future generations.
