At the city hall on the 2nd of June Pattaya mayor Ittiphol Khunplone and his administrators congratulated 5 local kids who are the members of the ‘Tao Kanong’ or the ‘Rocking Turtles’ pop musical band.
They recently came in first place at the famous and legendary national musical contest, The Coke Music Awards 2010.
The mayor said the boys were born in Pattaya and Chonburi and they are the pride of the people and wished them an even brighter future.
The band have just signed a long term contract with a music promotion company, the ‘Small Room’ and released an album called ‘The Starter’.
Their album is now available in all good record stores and will surely get many Thai teenagers following their career.
