Mae Hong Son and Kanchanaburi are Thailand’s hottest provinces

BANGKOK, 27 April 2014 – The Meteorological Department announced today that Mae Hong Son and Kanchanaburi have been the hottest provinces in the Kingdom.

Mae Hong Son’s hottest temperature on record this year was over 40 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, at 12:16 p.m., while the sun was at its most direct point over Bangkok, the temperature was recorded at 35-36 Celsius, and the temperature was up to 37-38 Celsius at 3:00-4:00 p.m.

According to the weather forecast, from the beginning to the middle of May, the average high temperature is likely to be around 38-39 Celsius.
