NAKHON PANOM, 26 March 2013 A man has been arrested in Nakhon Panom for the trafficking of 60 kilograms of marijuana.
Nakhon Panom police yesterday apprehended Thirawut Pharutham (24) and seized 600 bars of marijuana sticks he had in his black Proton van after intercepting him in Ban Klang sub-district, Mueang district.
The man confessed to having been hired for 100,000 baht to deliver the narcotics to Sakon Nakhon province. The marijuana was to be further transported to Songkhla for sale there.
Police charged Mr. Thirawut with possession of narcotics with the intent to sell. Police said he will be further interrogated
