A body of 47 year old man from Nonthaburi province was found dead next to his Honda motorcycle on Sukhumvit Highway in Naklua.
One eye witness told police that at the traffic lights the motorbike rider was making a turn into Soi Nongketyai and that a Mitsubishi pick-up did not slow down to let the motorbike complete his turn, the pick up hit the motorbike propelling it forward into the witnesses stationary van.
The pick up fled the scene in the direction of Pattaya.
Medical Volunteers Attend the Scene
About an hour later police found the pick up in front of Baan Nawang School but the driver was nowhere to be seen, the poice compounded the vehicle and are on the look out for the reckless driver, who snubbed out someone’s life all because he was in a hurry.
