BANGKOK, Thailand – A shocking video went viral on social media showing a man leaping between two high-rise buildings in Bangkok as a powerful earthquake struck on March 28. The footage captured the terrifying moment when a connecting bridge between the buildings began to separate due to the tremors, prompting the man to make the daring jump in a desperate attempt to reach his family.

The video quickly gained traction online, showing the high-rise condominium swaying during the quake, with the connecting structure between the buildings visibly detaching. The dramatic moment of the man’s jump has since sparked widespread discussion.



The popular Facebook page Bowyuri Sapai Kaolee (Korean Daughter-in-Law) later revealed that the man in the clip was the page owner’s own husband, a South Korean national. She explained that during the earthquake, her husband had been exercising on the 52nd floor of Building C, where few people were present at the time. Upon realizing the bridge was breaking apart, he made a split-second decision to jump across to Building B, where his wife and child were located.

Seeing the footage left her deeply shaken, she said, but she reassured followers that her husband is now safe. The dramatic escape has since captured the attention of netizens, with many expressing both shock and admiration for his bravery.
