Police raided ‘Boutique Sexy’ on central Pattaya third road after undercover police held a sting operation where they purchased some sex toys and lewd products from a 61 year old British shopkeeper.
Police detained the man and with a court warrant and searched his factory on Pattaya-Naklua road soi 5.
They found 6 male and female staff who were working on assembling leather garments, 4 sewing machines , over 1,000 items of silicon penis-like toys, leather jackets and suits, whips, and other sex products worth over 1 million baht.
Police also confiscated catalogs, and fabrication orders from international clients.
The owner of Sexy Boutique is led away by police
The owner stated that he moved to Thailand 6 years ago and sold his goods to clients in England and Germany
He stated that he also had a number of local customers including farangs and women working in entertainment venues.
He said he absolutely had no knowledge they were illegal to be distributed in the kingdom. Police kept all the banned products and transferred the British businessman to the police station for further interrogation.
