BANGKOK, 1 April 2015- His Majesty the King on Wednesday gave a Royal Command to revoke martial law enforced nationwide since May 2014.
The announcement on the revocation of martial law was broadcast Wednesday night, saying the situation presented no reasons for martial law invoked by the army on 20 May and by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) on 22 May last year.
Martial law is replaced by Section 44 of the interim charter.
