NONTHABURI – The Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Science and Technology will be holding Medical Innovation of Thailand exhibition, showcasing Thailand medical innovations during 18-20 August 2015.
The Minister of Public Health Rajata Rajatanavin has revealed that the Innovation System Development Committee, chaired by the Prime Minister, will be holding the Medical Innovation of Thailand exhibition during 18-20 August 2015, at IMPACT Exhibition Center Mueng Thong Thani, Nonthaburi.
The event will be organized under the cooperation of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), and the National Health Security Office (NHSO). The exhibition will provide an opportunity for medical innovation developers, manufacturers, and users to interact and increase the business networks, to help stimulate the national economy.
The event will also provide knowledge to students and the interested public on medical innovations, showcasing 195 projects including home for elders, surgical robots, educational robots for children with autism, and the nano ambulance. Seminars and discussions, organized by both the government and private agencies, will take place at the event to promote Thailand’s medical innovations.
Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha will preside over the opening ceremony of this exhibition on 18 August 2015 at 3:30pm.
