Bangkok – The Commerce Minister, Sontirat Sontijirawong, said a cabinet meeting has approved the Ministry of Commerce’s proposal to include medical supplies and services in this year’s list of price-controlled goods and services.
Sontirat said the ministry’s subcommittee will implement a measure to deliberate regulations on drugs, medical supplies and medical services to ensure fairness for all parties, both consumers and business operators.
The Ministry of Commerce earlier proposed the inclusion after receiving numerous complaints from the public about the high prices of medical supplies and services.
