Metro art at MRT subway stations throughout 2023

Planned events include projects located over a 1,000 sq m area, lined up to take place at MRT subway stations throughout 2023.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Bangkok’s newest art space and creative landmark has opened at MRT Phahon Yothin subway station, and it will be open every day between 07.00 and 21.00 hr, with free entry.

This “Metro Art” project – developed by Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) and Bangkok Metro Networks Limited (BMN) – is supported by TAT, with the goal of becoming a new location for tourists and Thais to visit, in particular those who appreciate art and creativity, and it is expected to increase MRT use by 20%.

Planned events include projects located over a 1,000 sq m area, lined up to take place at MRT subway stations throughout 2023. The highlights will be exhibitions of both modern and classic art by famous artists, which will rotate on a monthly basis. (PRD)
