Bangkok – The Minister of Interior has urged local administrations to make preparations for the coronation ceremony and to ensure peace and order during the election.
Minister of Interior Gen Anupong Paochinda chaired a meeting with high-ranking officials and provincial governors, urging them to prepare for the water collecting ceremony in 108 locations across the country before the water is gathered and blessed at Wat Suthat Thepwararam on April 18th and used at the coronation ceremony at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha the following day.
As for the election, he said security officials, the military, and police are continuing their support according to requests made by the Election Commission and has urged officials to remain politically neutral.
