BANGKOK, 26 July 2015 – The Reconciliation Center for Reform has arranged forums on reform in 11 fields during the first six months of the 2015 fiscal year. It found that people thought the main reason of conflicts in the Thai society is misinformation.
The Reconciliation Center for Reform was an initiative of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha whose main policy is to create reconciliation and unity among Thais. The center’s forums held nationwide since last year have concluded opinions voiced by the participants. Most of them blamed the conflicts on misinformation and agreed that the government should finish reforming the country in a stable and sustainable manner before a general election
More than 3,300 forums and 11 fairs to promote unique Thai characteristics have been organized with the objectives to promote civic virtue and national unity.
