Illegal drugs were yet again the topic of discussion at the Banglamung police station when they held a press conference on January 13 to publicize their latest success at arresting a gang of drug dealers.
Police seized 11 packs of marijuana weighing 462 grams and 9 amphetamine tablets from the dealers who were identified as Boontung Khammisit, 24, Ratakit Sithimethirat, 19, and Pollawat Noiprasert, 18.
The latest drive to stop drug trafficking follows a directive from the Royal Thai Police department to crack down on drug users and small time dealers, in order to get to the big time dealers.
