BANGKOK – Deputy National Police spokesman Krissana Pattanacharoen has disclosed that more than 100,000 police officers will provide safety and assistance to New Year revelers and travelers throughout the country during the festive period.
The police will also provide safety during countdown activities at major venues in Bangkok and the provinces, he said.
He confirmed that the police will follow the policy of the National Council for Peace and Order to prevent possible losses of lives and property.
