BANGKOK, 6 October 2015 – Heavy rain warnings remain place for those living in the Central Plains, East Coast and Northeast today.
According to the Meteorological Department, a low monsoon trough and southwesterly wind in the Andaman Sea continue to bring heavy rain to central, eastern, and northeast regions of Thailand.
While it is expected to rain heavily in most parts of the country, the South of Thailand will only experience scattered thundershower. However, it will be extra windy in the East Coast, with wind speeds of up 15kmph.
Waves in both the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea could reach the maximum height of 2m. As for Bangkok and its vicinity, residents can expect both thundershowers and heavy rain in most areas.
