Motorcycle taxi killer in Phuket reenacts his crime to the police

BANGKOK, 4 November 2014 – 62 year-old Suwat Saejong, the man responsible for shooting a Phuket motorcycle taxi driver in broad daylight on October 30th for road rage has turned himself in to the police.

Police Major General Pachara Boonyasit, the Phuket Provincial Police Superintendent, has brought the killer to reenact his crime at the scene after he fatally shot a 47-year-old motorcycle taxi driver Chaliao Piyapakul.

More than 50 police officers escorted Mr. Suwat to the crime scene for safety concerns over the fact that he might be mobbed by the members of the public. The killer confessed that he murdered the motorcycle taxi driver for cutting him off at a traffic intersection where they had a heated argument afterwards, in which he pulled out a gun to shoot the driver three times.
