Bangkok – Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS) plans to organize an ASEAN+3 Conference on Social Enterprises.
Social Development and Welfare Department Director General Napha Setthakorn gave a press conference on the ASEAN+3 Conference on Social Enterprises which is scheduled to take place from March 6-8, 2019, at the Swissotel Bangkok Ratchada Hotel in Bangkok.
She said the event is a collaborative effort among the Social Development and Welfare Department, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Thailand Social Enterprise and the local office of British Council.
The conference will be held under the concept “Advancing Social Enterprises for Realization of SDGs in ASEAN” to promote and strengthen cooperation on social enterprise operations.
The conference will hopefully encourage ASEAN member countries to exchange their ideas and experiences.
