MUKDAHAN,(NNT) – The Immigration Office at the Second Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge in Mukdahan province is determined to create happiness among border crossers during the New Year holidays.
Pol Col Sangkhom Tatso, Chief of the Mukdahan Immigration Office, said he has instructed his subordinates to provide quality services to people crossing the Thai-Lao border at the Second Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge, with a goal of putting smiles on their faces during the New Year period.
Throughout the holidays, everyone entering or leaving the Kingdom at the immigration checkpoint will be given souvenirs, ranging from cloth bags and calendars to candies and drinking water.
Besides creating a good impression on travelers, Pol Col Sangkhom also urged all immigration officials to perform their duties in a stringent, swift and careful manner. He insisted that a close watch must be maintained against illegal entry or exit of criminals.
