On January 11 at City Hall, Mayor Itthipol Khunplome called a meeting to observe the results of the Naklua walking street fair held last year, with the majority of those in attendance at the meeting being business operators from the Naklua area.

It was concluded that the fair had successfully attracted a wide range of visitors every weekend and stall keepers had participated well in the selling of collectibles and different food products.

However one problem that was highlighted and made clear to all at the meeting was that a stall keeper should not sub-let their pitch to other operators and charge them money.  The Mayor said that anyone violating this rule could face the prospect of losing their space within the fair in future.
