BANGKOK, 11 June 2014 – The National Council for Peace and Order has announced the prolonging of the time frame for the delivery of weapons to the authorities.
People who possess weapons such as guns, explosives, or gun-like weapons, are ordered to deliver them to the authorities by 25th June 2014.
Anyone who delivers privately held weaponry by that date will be spared any punishment. However violators may be imprisoned from 2 to 20 years.
