On July 13 at Pattaya city hall, deputy mayor Werawat Khakhai chaired a meeting over more new regulations for the Naklua fresh market amid local officials, market merchants, and the press.
The new committee which was recently set up had the mayor as chairman and other 16 members that included operators at the market.

The new regulations embrace measures in respects of market cleanliness, garbage management, merchant commitment in keeping the market and surrounding area in order and parking efficiency.
It was stated that civil officials stationed at the market will be stricter in ensuring that the measures are up to standard.
