New health reality TV show launched by MCOT

BANGKOK, Nov 27 —  Thailand’s media conglomerate MCOT Public Company Limited and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) have officially launched a reality television show to promote healthy lifestyles among people in Thailand.

Thaihealth Chief Executive Officer Dr Krissada Ruangareerat said at the grand opening press conference of the health reality TV show on Thursday that the programme, co-produced by ThaiHealth and MCOT Plc, is aimed to encourage positive changes towards healthy lives through health-related projects presented by and competed among interested individuals.

MCOT Executive Vice President Nimanong Yensabay says the content of the TV show targets new generation audiences reflecting an MCOT objectives to promote a creative and knowledge-based society.

The new show will be co-hosted by three Thai entertainment personalities who will give different tasks to and lead discussion among contestants. Eight episodes of the show will be aired on Modernine TV and MCOT HD Channel 30 Saturdays from 9.45-11.30pm from December 13 to January 31, 2015.
