Benchakitti Park is a new landmark in Bangkok that has become very popular after the reduction of the COVID-19 situation. People of all age groups, both Thais and foreigners, come here for relaxation, exercising, and a variety of activities.

This public park was developed as a new “lung” of the city of Bangkok from the original area of the tobacco factory. It was designed under the concept of “planting trees in the hearts and minds of the people,” in response to the aspirations of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX) and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

From June to August, the Royal Thai Army is holding “Music in the Garden” performances in the evenings on weekends, from 17.00 to 19.00 hr. (PRD)
