One of the hopeful steps taken to improve safety measures in Nongprue and Pong district area is the opening of the newest police station aimed to better serve and protect lives of the villagers.
Recently Region 2 police commander Tangai Pratsajaksatru and Nongprue municipality mayor Mai Chaiyanit agreed to cope with the demand of the local people for higher safety in their lives and tighter security and monitoring over their belongings and premises.

The celebration was well attended by officials, politicians, businesspeople, community leaders, and the general public. Monks performed a religious ceremony to officially mark the establishment.
Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police, Maj. Gen. Thanet Pinmuangam presented plaques of honor to distinguished and kind-hearted supporters to the station.
