News anchor training program for new generation of TV hosts

BANGKOK,The Public Relations Department (PRD) is hosting a news anchor training program at its headquarters with 69 news anchors from various government sectors attending. 

PRD Deputy Director General Dr. Charun Chaisorn said the training program is being held to prepare news anchors for the upcoming news anchor license exam. The test will be carried out by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission.

The training session is taking place until this Friday. With a total learning time of 27 hours, they are expected to learn more about media roles as they pertain to the economy, society and ASEAN. They will learn how to conduct a TV show, read the news and how to communicate with the audience effectively.
