NLA members given until July 20 to submit questions for impeachment case

BANGKOK, 16 July 2015 – Members of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) will be given until July 20 to submit questions regarding the impeachment case of 248 former MPs.

NLA Second Vice President Peerasak Porchit revealed that the legislative body has established a seven-member committee to hold the case hearing sessions and conduct examinations of both the plaintiff and the defendants using questions submitted by NLA members.

Mr Peerasak said NLA members will be given until July 20 to submit questions. The hearing session will then commence August 6 with, and the entire case should be concluded by the end of the month.
