BANGKOK, July 2015 – The National Legislative Assembly (NLA) has forwarded legislation on curbing teen pregnancy to the Cabinet for consideration.
The NLA had deliberated the 28 section bill which seeks to provide adolescents with proper sex education at schools.
The bill was then submitted to the Ministry of Health for consideration, which will provide feedback and suggestions on the bill within 20 days in order for the NLA to finally hold a vote.
