PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor of Nong Pla Lai Municipality, Pinyo Homklan, announced the plans for this year’s National Children’s Day celebration. The event aims to bring happiness and joy to children with a variety of gifts, prizes, and fun games. The municipality organizes this annual celebration, ensuring an unforgettable experience for the children.
This year, the event will take place in front of the Nong Pla Lai Municipality building, with a large tent set up next to the football field to accommodate hundreds of children.
The activities will begin with registration at 8:30 AM, followed by an opening speech and the reading of the National Children’s Day message by the mayor at 9:00 AM. Upon registration, every child will receive an event pass, which includes access to various activity booths. Each booth will offer exciting activities and rewards, ensuring no child goes home empty-handed.
The event has received overwhelming support from private sector businesses and local residents who have generously donated gifts and prizes. A highlight of the day will be the giveaway of over 20 bicycles to participating children. Those who register early in the morning will have a chance to take a bicycle home.
In addition to fun games and activities, over 20 food stalls will provide free meals for the children.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to closely monitor their children during the event to prevent any incidents. In case of separation, a dedicated information desk with staff will be available to assist. It is also recommended to place identification details, such as the child’s name, address, and a contact number, in the child’s bag to ensure safe reunification if necessary.
This year’s celebration is expected to draw a large number of families and promises to be a memorable occasion for all involved.
