The Thai Foreign Ministry confirmed today that no Thai citizens were injured in the terrorist attack at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport early Wednesday morning.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Information Sek Wannamethee said the ministry had contacted the Thai embassy in Ankara immediately after the terrorist attack at the airport and received confirmation that no Thai citizens were affected.
The suicide bombing and shooting left at least 32 people dead and 147 injured.
He added that the Thai embassy was closely following the situation.
